Trailblazers
are those who care about the world and the people in it. They want to
make life better around them and are willing to do what it takes to
get the job done. For some, it's going to that next seminar that exposes
them to a new way of thinking; for others, it's challenging the status
quo.
Trailblazers
are often called rather than chosen. One discontent retiree was troubled
by seeing women over 50 lose their sense of purpose and direction as
career and family responsibilities shifted. Being a natural champion
she committed to opening up options for women her age and older. As
she offered workshops to spread the word and provide women with life
enhancing change skills, she met considerable resistance. Women of this
age group often did not see themselves worthy of investment. Undaunted,
she changed her tactics and began publishing articles. Today she has
three book proposals being reviewed by publishers.
This Trailblazer
demonstrates her true colors with determination, flexibility and vision,
leading by modeling what she values most - spunk, sass, and zest for
life.
And it
doesn't stop on the outside. Trailblazers often crave personal growth.
They want to be the best they can be. They know intuitively that if
they take care of their inner self, the outside will take care of itself.
